Default New Spark plugs, New car!

I changed my spark plugs last Friday with NGK Iridium plugs. I didn't think it would change anything but man was i wrong. I swear the car is completely different now, tons of power and doesn't slightly plateau at 4k like before. The old plugs looked fine, a little brown but good. One thing i did notice was the old plugs had a larger gapping then the iridium.

Same. When the engine was out I had them change the plugs. Definitely a difference in power. Even Ashley agrees.

I guess the plugs are an easier change with the engine out.

I installed these as well and will agree. The difference is noticable.

NGK says the Iridium plugs are not an option for our cars. Would the Laser Platinum plugs be a better choice?

You dont have to gap iridium plugs. And i didn't own the car when the last ones were installed so i dont know if he gapped them right.

Me and my buddy were actually joking about how the hell the MB techs changed the plugs, cause they are a major ***** to reach and remove, and he jokingly said maybe they pull the motor. lol

I dont know why it says that, I just walked into Autozone and got 12 for my car. they didn't say anything about not using it on my car. Are you saying they are not a option for the SRT?

I really don't know. Clearly, some people here have used them and are getting great results. However, the manufacturer does not recommend them for our cars. I don't know what the issues are, if any, with using these parts over the recommended ones. Perhaps someone who knows more about spark plugs can explain.

Are they the same plugs that Needswings has on their site. I imagine they are. Inquiring minds would like to know.

I pulled the stockers out cleaned and regapped them to 34 ( i think) last Oct. before heading to the track. I think it made a difference, atleast lowering the gap should have helped.
