Just ordered my cold air intake from Rob at Needswings. I'm really looking forward to installing it. I've read a lot of positive comments from other NW CAI owners.

Did you get the single or the dual?

 

send it back....quickly....send it back.....you will hurt yourself at the Dragon....Rob should add a warning label....you listening Rob...Warning: This Mod can be hazardous to your health....permagrin could set in....

 

The comptroller (aka the wife) approved a single CAI. I did get the Mercedes engine cover as well.

 

you don't cover your intake, you show it off, silly....

 

You will not belive the difference in sound and performance it is worth every penny. Just make sure you don't get a ticket if you do you might as well of bought the dual.

 

It's the smaller black one and you will be able to see the CAI just fine.

 

I got love it.

 

I got it all installed today. Since I'm not a motor head, it took me a bit longer to get it all installed. No check engine lights! The car is a bit peppier and seems to have a meaner sound.

My son (pictured) was kind enough to take the maiden voyage with me. We didn't get stranded so all is good!

Rob just got my dual CAI for the 6 and he installed it for me Thursday night, and oh hell yea, very nice product and very good upgrade for the money, loving it all the way it's like going from a NA to a SRT all over again. I think I might get addicted to this mod stuff, already have the perma-grin addiction that I can't get rid of. Great choice and enjoy it.

 

Congrats, Itsky. I'll be very interested to hear your thoughts on this mod as you get more driving time up in the hills here.
