I prefer 40 inches long, 8 inches wide and in cashmere. Suggest color match your Xfire. Only kidding.
What is wrong with the one on the car?

I've been lucky so far in posting on this forum, until today!! I've seen the smartasses come out to play but never had the occasion to bump into one.
If you don't have anything constructive to say..why waste your time and the time of others by posting bullshat?

Really did not mean to get under your skin. Honestly wanted to know why the OEM muffler needed to be replaced. Is it cosmetic or functional?
There is magnaflow cat back system
MagnaFlow Performance Exhaust
There is a Borla cat back system
Stainless Steel Cat-Back? System | 140083 | Chrysler Crossfire 3.2L 6cyl - BORLA - The World's Most Winning Exhaust
There are more options availiable, all depends on what sound, look, performence, do it your self or if you are getting a shop to do it. If it is just a muffler you want or need any exhaust shop can throw on a universal muffler and make it fit

I have ran a Megan M-RS ( 6 months) with no issues around 129.95 on their website
kinda odd that ANSA would have problems with their quality can you elaborate on what went south on it ?

Magnaflow 16633 CatBack Exhaust! Made for the X-Fire, fits perfectly and sounds great... Questions?
I deleted the resonator at the rear, saved weight, got much better sound without drone, and minimal cost. Not too loud either, still play the stock radio you know. Woody
Much lower backpressure, you could feel the difference.

You can get a magnaflow 14221 uni fit. Have them cut the old muffler off, weld this one on. E-bay has them for 119.00 fs. polished SS. Under car parts . com has the 16633 magnaflow cat back for name your price. ask for about 350. to 400. you might get lucky. Go to u-tube and search CROSSFIRE EXHAUST. several posts are there. you can get a feel on which sound you are looking for. The Megan R/S sounds great. A little large 3in inlet 4 in out. Looks great on car. Do search on forum . You can find a lot of pix, and stuff. Good luck.
Hey Cajun,
I have a 2004 Limited Coupe that I have had the Magnaflow on for over 2 years and the responce to the looks and sound have always been positive. Good luck!

Did I mention the Magnaflow 16633 CatBack Exhaust bolts on, no cutting or welding...
Once on the lift about a 45 minute job. The hangers at the rear are the bugger...

anything aftermarket is going to drone, its a fact of life. We've gone through 6 different exhaust configurations on our z06 and they all drone, cats, no cats, maganaflow, corsa, etc all drone
its a fact of louder exhausts
