There is no more pictures today due to the camara is still in the car on the hoist. the pics I up loaded were on my friends camara and he left before we finished.

But I will describe what went on

Cut out rear cats, increased the pipe size to 2½, Added a magnaflow X as seen in a pic, dual pipes to the back with 2 magnaflow mufflers with the stock tips.

Yes I know the stock tips do not have a 2½ hole in them but we stretched them open to match. It is all compleated except for a hanger at the rear. Go figure... a 30¢ part would screw us for compleating it

Cool, I hope you got some good pics of the finished product. I am looking for some ideas for mine.

I know the X pipe helps equalize pressure on both sides, but does it do anything for the sound?

Thanks for the reply. James

I am not too sure if it changes the sound at all and I have not started the car with out the X and just them mufflers then with the X and the muffler to compair the difference. Probably be a good idea but we didnt think of doing that at the time. Althow we did start it up with everything off and it was VERY loud. I will try and get a recording of what it sounds like tomorrow from inside the car and most likely a drive by also!

Nice looking set up Beaner, have you noticed any power gains? I'd imagine you'd get abit of drone around 60mph?

I agree James another great Beaner install. Beaner dropped by and we went for a ride and then we took my Limited out for comparison. I think we both agree very similar in tone, just a good bit louder, but not unpleasant.

OOOOMG ... the car is louder than stock! I pitty the people who has to drive behind me... haha.

They are almost the same mufflers that come in the catback system from magnaflow but without the tips and a bigger inside (2½) so it has a very similar sound to that setup but mine is louder. Maybe a little too loud for my likeing but ohh well... I will leave it like that for a little while and maybe add something to quiet it a little bit later on this summer

Is there drone? - Only when the car is running
Powergains? - I don't know. It sounds mean around redline. My car should be on the dyno at eurocharged on May 1st. But I dont have before results to compare
