Help with Megan Racing M-RS
I received this muffler as a birthday gift. I went to Midas to hopefully get it installed, and they said they couldn't do it, and that I needed a pipe. I'm pretty sure they could have just modified the stock one, but I can't do this work myself and need to find a shop to do this. I'm not sure where to go at this point. Did anyone else have a shop install their Megan M-RS? I'd hate to return this muffler just because I don't know how to get it installed. PLEASE HELP
IN BEFORE "LOL U DIDN'T USE SEARCH, LOLOL"
I NEED HELP NOW, COULDN'T FIND IT ANYWHERE ELSE
Thanks for the help in advance!

yeah ive had the M-RS installed on my car, im not going to lie its a royal pain in the a**, i went to a local muffler shop and it took us a couple of hours to install it, i have photos up, you have to have additional piping an a bending maching, it takes a lot of tweaking and precision bending to get it to fit at all, but its been on for a year and sounds amazing, no problems JR
I run one on my 6 no problem installing it ,,,you need to find a shop that knows what the hell their doing
PM, Franc he's in your area and can probably steer you to a good shop.
good luck

Go to a reputable local fab shop... Muffler shops use crush bent galvanized steel which is the worst possible combination for an exhaust. Not to mention they normally use arc welders or flux core, which produce horrible welds.
A local fab shop will use stainless steel mandrel bends, new flanges and more than likely tig weld everything.

I have it on mine and yes u have to cut the pipe on the stock exhaust to make it fit. My muffler shop did a great job on making it sit flush. The hardest part for them was the rubber hooks.
I'm looking at replacing the stock muffler on my coupe. Does anyone have a sound clip for this muffler? BTW, any drone with this muffler while on the highway?
