I am looking for a MB air box, and have the opp. to get one that fits either a CL 500, or an S 500. Does this type fit our XFs?

 

If it's a V-8 then I would say no.
If it's the V-6 I would guess not.

If I recall correctly, the airbox portions are the same size in dimension, its only the front piece that is slightly longer.... but the physical airbox is the same, just larger filters.

 

The 500 is a V8. But if it uses the two piece set-up, the rear airbox will fit. Then all you have to find is a V6 front section, or called the actual engine cover. If you can get a good deal on it, go for it. The front v6 covers come up on ebay quite often.

If ithis is the one you want, the rear section will fit. The front is for a V8, not sure how it would look or fit on an Crossfire.

Sadly, the back did NOT fit... The clips were not in the right place, too far forward and outboard of the XF rubber mounts. (neither did the front ). I'll keep looking.
