Talking Got aluminum?? Got HOLES

Installing my air compressor was not too complicated till the cheap HOME DEPOT motor burned out the starter switch. What to do, well I added an external starter to keep it working and not spend ++++$100 for a motor.

Well all worked till one UNINSULATED wire hit the air diacharge line and blew a hole in the aluminum pipe. Odd size and odder fittings, what to do?/ I have had stick aluminum solder that I bought at Carlisle a decade ago at one of the peddlers. Finally had a need and SCHZAMM it worked with a propane torch.

This stuff works after you wire bush the pipe and was nun too difficult. I just did not want to pull out the tig torch and find the helmet.... got the solder and torch and was done in less time than this posting took.

If your stuck Id try this stuff as it holds 150 psi air that is running about 250 degrees on this outlet pipe, ENJOY

I got one of those rods with a set of used wheels for my El Camino, to fix some curb rash. It was so minor I never bothered. I did watch the videos, and saw the demos at Carlisle as well, and it looks promising.
