Default P0410 and NeedsWings intake

So this may or may not be directly related. Installed a Needswings Intake this week. Took my car through Mikes Car Wash and while the attendant was spraying my car, I noticed the CEL had popped. Once I was through the car wash I popped the throttle and no issues. Cleaned the inside and left the car wash chirped the tires and sped right off.

Went to Autozone and they pulled the codes, the dreaded P0410 code. Could the code have been the result of car wash? I have let the car sit for an hour + and the CEL is still on.

Should I order the "blue valve?" I have an extended power train warranty through Chrysler that I bought when I purchased the car, its the 4 year unlimited power train. Seeing as the part is related to the emissions system I think that the issue would be covered. Additionally the Autozone guy noticed a ticking noise, I had just related it back to the radiator fan however, it did sound almost valve ticky as it was coming from the rear of the engine bay.

I have never had a problem with the car burning oil, running poorly, and did notice that there is oil built up on the passenger side valve cover so it appears that the TSB was never completed or completed incorrectly.

So should I ultimately contact the local stealer-ship and let them stumble **** their way through this, could the car make it through the TOD and back seeing as I have never had a problem before?

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Now don't panic there young feller....it doesn't do much anyway other than light up that light that is annoying you...
you can read up on that kind of stuff by researching the dreaded po410 code in the search feature...it will tell you about the relays and such so you can check it out yourself. It could be the pump has gone bad on you...but, it isn't going to hurt anything while driving it....

did ya happen to unplug the air pump durring the install and forget to replug it in? this is assuming you have a dcai, for the single cai there was no reason for you to be over on that side fo the engine bay.

Ok I jumped the gun. I have been bitten by chasing a CEL in a 2003 VW Passat, a never ending run! The vaccum line for the right side valve somehow came off. I need to reset the battery and clear the code and see if it is still going to pull. I have yet to find out what causes the ticking sound.
