How is the sound?

 

It's very deep and sounds better as the RPM's get higher. Slight drone between 2000-2500 RPM if I get on the gas. If i'm just cruising at that RPM level there is virtually no noise. I'm going to post a video on Youtube and i'll post the link when I do so.

I had one on my N/A crossfire and it had an aggressive sound to it. A bit raspy at first, but after a few months it sounded real nice. Cant beat the price either for the exhaust.

Glad you guys enjoyed my post.

No regrets so far (Day 5)...doubt there will be any. Mind you I am 18 years old and do enjoy my exhaust to be LOUD. That being said, this muffler probably would be too much for the traditional "old timer". (Not that there's anything wrong with being traditional.....or an old timer. )

 

Well, I have just ordered mine off of Amazon. I like the sounds that you had in your clip. It will be interesting to see how the sound of this one compares to my ANSA on the roadster.

 

Drive both, back-to-back, in the same video once you do

 

I just got my muffler installed today. I'll have to try to take some video tomorrow for a comparison. The new muffler is definitely louder than stock, but it is hard to say if it is louder than the ANSA.

 

I got the Magnaflow Catback installed yesterday. MUCH louder than stock. Hopefully it mellows out after driving for awhile.

In all fairness, you didn't run the ANSA the same as you did the Megan Racing, I noticed that right away. I'd like to have the ANSA, Megan, Magna Flow, and Flow-master all with the same configuration running similar test runs. If any of the cars are different models (Roadster vice Coupe), then the inside sound bite really doesn't compare.

Regardless, the Megan sounds more throaty but both are very nice.

 

On the outside shot, I did floor it pretty hard on the start. I didn't want to race at 60 on that public street.

Both sound really good but I think the Megan is louder but has a little more performance oriented sound while the Ansa has a very slight fart sound to it but not a bad sound.
Like them both but prefer the megan.

I also don't like how small the tips are on the Ansa. Looks like pea shooters compared to the Megan.

 

I was surprised by how much bigger the MR tips were compared the ANSA. Some who have the ANSA have put on the original Crossfire exhaust tips to give more of an original look.
