Re: How can I swap my engine for a SRT-6 Engine?
HDDP did his swap into a manual transmission for racing and it was a real project to adapt the SRT engine to the MT.....
Dropping the SRT into an automatic should be pretty straight forward... also need the SRT ECU and need to reflash the TCU.... rear differential would also need to change to get the gear ratios to match for the TCU and ECU....hmmmmm maybe not quite so simple..... or cheap...

Sell your car for 10500 buy an srt6 for 16-18k and you will still save money. Srt6 suspension and brakes are different and by different I mean better so for 6k to 8k you get about 10k worth of upgrades not to mention you get a car that was built the right way.

JMK41 is right.
Easiest way, and cheapest, is to swap engines.
Easiest way, and cheapest, is to swap bodies as well.
Buy and SRT. They are unbelievably cheap at $17-$19K.
If you want a faster Crossie,,,,,,Specificaly an SRT6,,,,,
Instead of trying desparately to get there.....Start there and go forward.

Flew there and drove back 1,500 miles straight through. My a$$ was killing me.
My son drove most of the way and then drove back to his home in his VW.
He did mention the SRT had lots of power.
He's not into cars or fishing.

Re: How can I swap my engine for a SRT-6 Engine?
I have done the swap from a N/A to the srt6 engine and if you don't have a complete donor car then it is not worth doing. All the modules need to be used or hack the ECU from the srt6 and reset the vin as well as some wiring to allow for the S/C pump and fuse as well as some other misc wiring mods. Also the rear end and transmission from the donor car needs to be used. It took me 3 months to do all the wiring using the harness from the donor car and all suspension parts incl the brakes. Basically move most of the parts that make an srt6 over to the N/A body.
It can be done and is an exciting wolf in sheep's clothing when you are done. Nobody should attempt this swap without some good knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical skills. If you do attempt this I can help with lessons learned and save some time and money with pointers if you need it.

Have you any idea how sentences are structured? There is a thing called a period (.) that breaks up run-on sentences. Try using those so people don't think your uneducated?
