Default 2004 SRT6 Limited Six Speed

Long story short, this build in this car would be north of $15K. If you are looking to do it then let me know, I have a pretty thorough parts breakdown.

Everything in the pictures are for sale except the trans. Let me know what you need and I will work with you.

I definately owe you one! And when I first saw the valve covers I thought they were but when you look closer you can see where he taped everything off to paint them so I don't believe they are.

I don't think so.. It looks more like a pin fitted to valve lash, to retainer to spring etc...

Shouldn't there be an oil cooler on the front?

He has a build thread? I have read what he PM'd people and they put up for the public... The tuning will be difficult but with Web 3.0's breakthrough on the NA ECU and boost I am hoping we can figure out someway to do it that way. Otherwise I need to find contact info for cjstp (I think that is his screen name) to figure out how he got the SRT ECU to read a manual. In any case I still need a good machinest for my flywheel or the 06/07 C230 clutch. Along with re-building the motor.

HDDP had a build thread where he put an SRT6 motor in his N/A racecar. Good info on flywheels and such....

That is only active on the 007 models, it swings away the fog lights, then fires two rockets ...

To tell the truth, I don't know

I knew it!!!

I looked on the mb forum right after I posted that and apparently it is called a "kick down" it tells the auto transmissions to back down to the lowest gear possible.

I didn't have time to take a pic but the piston is missing a little chunk where it was hard to see last night. I had already put a piston/ring set on my spreadsheet so were good there. You can see it in the pic of all 3 pistons. I guess I was too tired at 12:30 in the morning on a workday lol... I was going to try and pull everything apart tonight but my other half neglected to inform me of her bridal shower. My two sons make it a little hard to get down tearing apart a motor lol. In any case, tomorrow's a flex Friday so ill have some progress to report then.

That button under is the gas pedal is the kick-down button on an automatic.

That was a cool idea, the guys on the MBforum don't like it though. Most said that it drops too many gears and puts you too high in the rev range.
