Looks great but you'll want to lose the oil filler extension.

 

Looks good - nice & clean....way cleaner than mine! The contrast between the red & blue is a little jarring, but that's just my observation.

I still stand by my "something other than red" suggestion... that being said, looking at just the bay and not the sides, very very nicely done!

by the way, it randomly popped into my head earlier today that orange would look pretty cool against the blue and I feel like I should've tried to convince you of that... and then you posted this thread... coincidence!

Don't give away all the secrets my calipers, roof spoiler, diffuser accents, and soon to be valve covers and a few other under hood items are red/orange. Looks great against the graphite IMHO

 

Great minds! I would love to do orange as well but then my black coupe will look like an art deco Halloween decoration. So carbon fiber and gunmetal for me...

or deep purple if I ever feel brave enough

Myself and a few other members with black cars (I used to have a black coupe) had discussed doing the accents in clear coated copper. You could do hammered, aged, polished, etc but I think actual copper accents on the art deco XF would be classic
