Default Eisenhaus Exhaust

Eisenhaus Exhaust... all installed... whoops some ***!... sounds amazing

Pics + Video's will be posted...

Yesterday at the Autocross the announcer kept making reference to the "NICE sounding Xfire"...

HP increase large! I can feel it...

off the line slight gain... 0 - 60... tested around 5.7 - 5.8...
THE HUGE gain is 100+ speeds... it feels like 3rd gear almost the entire way through 4th!!!

You can really give the 350Zs a run for their money.

This make take some time to load... Plus the pics are 750 pixels...

I made them this way because I know exhaust is a huge thing to some people... I even have higher quality pictures of these same ones on the link below...

This was definately the best investment next to the ECU... the gain is large I can feel it! The sound is amazing! and it looks HOT on the back of there... the tips really set it off in person... The throaty feel! but NOT muscle car'ish... nor high pitch ricer sound! it reminds me of a porsche!

Not too keen on the look of it, and I hate the fact you can see a massive hunk of metal sat there !

Fair play if the gains are as you claim !

You need to get your car on a dyno. What was your 0-60 time before the Eisenhaus?

as long as your happy with it, then thats good. im sorry i cant share the enthusiasm... especially for the price you paid. i couldnt get the movie files to load so maybe im missing the most important part, but the asthetics leave much to be desired.

To download the movie, Right click the link and select "save target as". It took a few minutes to download, but it works.

I prefer the stock tips. Could you have retained them?

same here, the stock tips look so much better, but then again the performance gain seems to be perfect...

Hey Bob, can't understand why you stayed with single exhaust and large muffler seen from back.
I understand the thing about exhaust mods. The xfire needed some aggressive sports car sound and I found the answer.
I converted to full dual cat-back system with similar round stainless tips out back. The difference is that I eliminated muffler and replaced with much cleaner lookin two small free flow converters. All you see is the dual pipes coming out back. I agree that the low-end power is about the same but once you get into 2nd/3rd at 3grand and up, the power comes on. I haven't taken any measurements but sure seems more powerful.
It stands to reason that if you can free up the exhaust and find a freer flowing intake at the front, ya got improved performance.

For those who might be interesed, I'm going to try to get some pics and upload.

Talk to Saskins about a free flow air intake. He's created quite a system. He's calling it the ASK Racing Double Deuce Air Intake. Please post some pictures soon of your dual exhaust and maybe a movie/sound file so we can hear it.

Derek,
Judging from the movies, I like the sound!
I'm not too hot on the loss of the stock tips though.

When are you going to be in the area? I'd really like to hear it live and under load.

Matt
