Ok, so for the last few days at work I have been looking for new upgrades for the Crossfire. With the exception of the ECU Chips, I can't find any other major upgrades. What I'm looking for are headers, better air intakes, turbos, and/or superchargers. Any help would be nice.

None of those mods exist for a reasonable price. The RENNTech blower upgrade will cost roughly $20,000 which includes the supercharger itself coupled to a complete engine build and transmission overhaul. And Kleeman (I think?) offers a supercharger upgrade for $9000.

There are no turbos. Also, headers don't seem to exist.

As the car is basically a reskinned SLK, that's were to look. Its all expensive but thats the price you pay. The Kleeman conversion offer the best value and that's what I'll be doing in the spring. Works out great. 2004 CF 6sp = $28.1K + 10K (+/-) for the conversion = $38.1k. Cheaper than an SRT and stealth. Not as cheap as some of the American iron but better looking.

 

It's a SHOW car... if you want a GO car, trade it in and get the SRT.. otherwise, you are wasting your money
