Upper radiator hose NA models
Just wanted to share some info with the group. I recently have been working on the cooling system(new electric fan and water pump). While removing the upper radiator hose which is part of the complicated multi-piece and multiple connection hose, the hose ripped where it meets the thermostat housing. The whole assembly is around $90+ on eBay but I only needed one part of the assembly and didn't want to mess with removing the whole thing anyway.I got lucky and found a replacement hose and thought I would share the info.
At auto zone the part number was 14-2159-0 (~$12)and it fit without trimming even though it is about 1" longer. Here are the cross reference part numbers Google gave me. GATES 21735 CARQUEST 21735 RoadMAX C1735 GOODYEAR 61458 MOTORCRAFT KM-1684 MOTORCRAFT KM-1699 Hope this saves someone else a little headache. |

Yes, a big Thank You. This may save someone a lot of dispair. Mainly, me on the road, if it ever happens.
