Default Mercedes engine cover

My friend has a mercedes clk 320 which he gave me the engine cover i know it's the same engine i wanted to know if the engine cover pops right on the crossfire or if I'm going to have to do modifications

You will need to trim some of the plastic off the front to clear the radiator hose,
and cut a notch on the drivers side for the tube that runs to the evap purge solenoid,
otherwise it pops right on.

( you will also need some silver caliper paint for the manifold which will now be exposed )

So, do the factory XF air tubes work with this cover, or do you have to go with the Needwings rear CAI type set-up? Thanks.

No it doesn't fit you have to get a cai I'm just going to build one myself it'll be much cheaper
