Hi everyone, the propshaft centre bearing rubber bush is burst, can someone tell me where I can get one, and also any pictures of strip down process and do I also need to replace the actual bearing, any help on the procedure to replace either the bush and or the actual bearing and where do I get them, I`m in the UK, how does the bearing fit in the bush or is it a complete assembly ?, any help would be great, oops, any special tools required, Regards, Teak

This was dealt with in the last couple of days, look for the thread “Driveshaft Issues”.

Mercedes Part Numbers for NON SRT

Propshaft Centre Bearing - A008 981 4325
Propshaft Centre Bearing Mount/Support - A170 410 0081
Propshaft Donut/Coupling - A000 411 0000 (front and rear are the same part)

Febi Bilstein versions are readily available at places like onlinecarparts.co.uk and relatively inexpensive.

Chrysler will want you to but a whole propshaft for almost £1,500

The above info is excellent, very useful.
Although, you search the Centre bearing part number OR Centre bearing + mount/support part number, but get exactly the same Parts showing, at different prices! Confused.

Anyone bought from that onlinecarparts site, are they reputable?

Another option for us UK Crossfire owners. Had a look on there. They dont state part numbers. Although visually looks the same.

Thanks!

Hi James, I have the same issue and am based in the UK. Can you confirm where you bought the parts from? I looked the parts supplied in the comments but they online parts.com that they do not fit Chrysler crossfire.

Thanks.

David
