I went to eBay and found the intake, but he didn't have any buyer feedback was for the intake system. I'd also like to hear how a customer rates it or see some numbers from a 1/4 slip.

I have the first non-prototype system on my car, for about 9 months now... Trust me, it's worth it... I'm sure he's done some modifications to the assembly brackets since we installed mine, but this thing made a VERY noticeable difference in the performance...

Which part is making a difference HDDP? I noticed mine (own intake set-up) is just kicking in the mid and high end torque which is great for 1/4 mile but not in the 0-60 race. I had fun when I brought mine to San Antonio last weekend (6 hours drive) ...nice and smooth highway and I've been following an SL 500 all the way!

I'm not sure I understand your question... If you are talking about the intake, it makes a bit of a difference in the 2,000 - 4,500 rpm range... I usually run the car in 5th gear on the highway at 3,000 rpm... Now it jumps when you need it to, when before, it was sluggish...

As far as the track, I still need about another 100hp to be happy...

I just put the larger V-8 Mercedes Benz airbox on my Crossfire and it's designed with larger filters and air chamber. It does make it run smoother at all speeds even more at higher 3,000+ rpms. FITS PERFECT!

I have been trying to get an intake for about 2 weeks now, and have come up with nothing. Does anyone have a price or a way of going about getting Saskins to give me some info? I want to get one because there is an AWD dyno in my area, and i think that will solve the crossfire's problems. So yea, I will dyno test at my expense and hopefully he will make money off of his product, still don't understand why he hasn't gotten back to me.

Saskins intake should work fine. I just put on a larger V-8 intake Benz box. It fits perfect and does add good response!!! I paid $150 with K&N filters. Try a junk yard! All 3.2 and V-8's are the same!

Ok, fair enough. I never received a PM from you, other then one that asked what car, I had just sold. Now knowing that this information was useless to the task at hand, I still replied "95 Firebird" yet your inbox was full and nothing could get through.

Email me at: fit4lyfe8797@yahoo.com The sooner I get this info, the sooner you can be making some more money.

Yes I did send just that one PM, and actually Cleared out my inbox before I sent you that message. So I have been unable to have PM's for a while now. Sorry to all those who may have also tried to send me a Private message.

I didn't order it, I bought it from another forum member who sold his Crossfire (Babeviper). I believe that 98-2002 MBs are the same but I would have to confirm for you. It fits on same connections and has larger filters no clearance problems at all. I'll take some pics. Check out Babeviper's gallery! I think he had pictures.WORKS GREAT and makes engine bay look nice!

SASKINS: I got a nice compliment on your intake today from the guys who rep. PowerChip in LA... Had the car chipped today with their "GOLD 93" and they were digging the layout and 3" pipes... PS: you haven't seen it since I put the heat shield on it... Car dyno'd this afternoon at 237 hp, 92 degrees in the bay... I'm not sure if the PowerChip added anything yet... Won't know till I hit the track this weekend...
