Hello, how can I find the part that needs to be changed here. Technical name "Driveshaft support bearing"
I would appreciate it if you write me the chrysler and mercedes part code and the links I can find about it.
And how bad is it that I can continue riding like this? no sound no vibration? Sometimes when I adjust the unstable throttle, I feel a click when the gear is falling. probably this is happening to all of us.
The Mercedes Bearing Number is 008 981 43 25. The rubber support from Mercedes I was not able to find matching number. They seem to want to sell that with the drive shaft. You can get the complete center support replacement at Needswings.com. Not sure what the cost would be for shipping. Also "Partsgeek.com" has the two parts you are looking for search for 2003 SLK drive shaft center bearing. Those are after market parts.
Hello everyone again, today I got the part that needs to be changed. 2 separate services did not say anything clear about how to insert it. the shaft assembly will be disassembled or they do not know exactly whether it is possible to disassemble separately. and that's why they don't tell you the labor cost clearly. I would appreciate it if you write down the procedures and tips for installing this piece. I would like to go to the service, having studied my lesson. Otherwise, there may be a surprise labor price.
