I bought my crossfire 3months ago, 2006 with 18k miles. About a month ago I noticed an oil leak on the passengers side front area of engine compartment. It wasn’t there before....? Any ideas?

Perhaps as many as 1/3 or even 1/2 of those who have owned a car with an M112 engine in it has dealt with this; we don't have 'ideas', we have the answer.

I thought I read something about a problem after changing oil, but can’t find the thread

 

Well, there is the old 'I changed the oil and now have a leak' thing. Many people screw up the Oring on the filter housing and end up with oil all over - but that's obvious, you will have oil seeping out around the filter housing cap. If you problem is leaks on the side of the engine, then the link in my post above is all you need!
