Default What color was the factory coolant?

Hi, my first post on this extremely valuable board! I just acquired a 06 Coupe with 88,400 miles on it. The prior owner is my son in law and his family has had it since about 18K miles. To my son in law's memory, the coolant has never been changed. I see that the current coolant is green in color (not glow in the dark green, just a darkish green) and seems pretty clean looking. Does anyone know what the original, from-the-factory coolant was colored? I plan to change it out to Zerex G-05 soon, but I'm curious if this coolant has been running around this old guy for 16 years. Was the original orange like Zerex? Thanks in advance for your feedback!

The original colour was blue, flush it out and add Zerex it shows up as greenish yellow. Some of the old coolant gets hidden away and mixes with the Zerex.
Clean does not count for much, it’s the qualities that count and they diminish with age just like us.

Thanks so much for this guidance! I will indeed do the swap to Zerex in the next few weeks. I think this car deserves "undiminished" quality, and I'm happy to provide it. Cheers.
