Engine, Exhaust, Transmission and DifferentialPost questions here that have to do with the engine, cooling system, air intake, exhaust, Transmission and Differential
I ask this question because I work on my car alone.
I've read the service manual instructions and I don't have a pressure bleeder. Yes, I know... amazon, harbor freight, etc..
I've read the "howtune" articles, watched videos on youtube and searched the forum and there hasn't been any mention of gravity bleeding.
I would still like to know if anyone has done it or if it's possible.
Thanks.
Re: Is it possible to gravity bleed the clutch fluid?
Also bleed the brake system it shares the same fluid with the clutch, you'll get a better outcome by doing both, if it's never been done the fluid is 16- 20 years old , I've did the gravity bleed but it worked better with a power bleeder . Amazon $58

Thank you for the info.
I've bled all of the old fluid out of the brakes and replaced it. I've never bled the clutch before.
