Default Clearing ECM codes question?

My new to me Crossfire came with a P2098 code, I found the thread on cleaning and greasing seals on the MAF . But coming from a Ford world, my question is: do I need to clear codes after each repair or should the ECM clear codes automatically on the Crossfire?

thanks,
Ned Williams

Default Re: Clearing ECM codes question?

Some will clear after a given number of driving cycles; others need to be cleared by scan tool; sorry I can't be more specific as to your DTC.
