borla is a crap design... look at the path the exhaust has to take through the second canister... killer... killer to performance that is.

added: i have to say it will sound good tho, its just not what i would expect for the $600+ dollars that the system cost... its no better than the stock system... in fact i would argue the stock system is a better design without twisting the flow like the borla does...

Well I appreciate the compliments but I have to clear some things up. First it wasn't $900 it was $1,200, you may ask why I spent so much and my answer is because I can. Second, it's all stainless so it will last longer which adds to the price. And the performance is much better in the upper rpms. It needs like an extra 1,000 rpms it seems because it just keeps going. right now I'm playing with my other toys but I'm bringing to the track wednesday, and if I'm not satisfied I'll buy something until I am. I'm shooting for $13.99, so I'm hoping I'm kinda close.

 

Dude you got raped. The shop did not even use any lube let alone neglect the reach around.

The shop I use would have done if anything a better job and I would have gotten out of there with a better muffler and have spent ~$400.

 

Can I ask what you do for a living? When I was 21 (your profile says 21?) I could only afford a 1988 Camaro and barely had money to keep it running. Must be nice to have that disposable income to spend on new exhaust systems and other "toys".

 

I run a personal training company and have been consistently lucky in the stock market. My other toys are a '67 camaro and a '90 vette. Yes it is very nice to have a disposable income, but believe me I busted my *** for a long time before I got to where I am, and no my parents are not rich.
