Kleemann supercharger
Kleemann M112 SuperCharger System Mercedes SLK320 V6 R170 96-04 I wonder if that would be a improvement over the srt supercharger.
Wow.... A low boost SC that can be used safely of the NA engines that shows gains of 113 HP and 97 lbs/ft Torque. Pretty impressive.
If I am reading correctly, it would not be an improvement over the SRT SC, but would be a helluva add-on to the NA if you could afford it. For $7,500.00 I think I would just get the SRT, but if you could find one of these babies used.....

We have a customer that did this to his v8 and the intercooler and SC is far superior to the OEM MB set up. He built his engine to hadle some decent boost and puts down 460-480 RWHP on pump gas, stock internals.
Be careful with this kit. I have a friend who installed this kit and at least on the older ones there was no safety for when the IC pump went. He found out the hard way that his pump died - a hole in the engine. At least on the older kits the crappy bosch pump was used. When the car was running right it was a strong car.

This kits are true bolt on, but we would never recommend that. There are a large number of things that need to be improved for reliability and efficeincy. The pump being one of them. Also the Intercooler can be reworked, the intake system, fuel system, TB, MAF sensor, and a few more odds and ends. All of these things make a ton of difference. Then you can start playing with the fun pulleys!
Am I looking at the pic right, meaning the SC is on the bottom and the intercooler is on top, just like the Cadilliac STS V? If so, then that is a whole lot better getting the IC out of the "V" of the motor where it can be cooler!

Bill, depends on the size of the SC I would say. If they are the same size, that is a whole lot of $$$$ to cool the intake charge, by how much???
