Default srt resonator delete??? opinions please

How do they sound? I want a nice gurgle/rumble sound. How's the drone inside the car? All opinions appreciated

A srt6 sounds good with the resonator gone from behind! I recommend it. As for drone I have no idea.

Thanks! I just don't want it to sound like a ricer.

Not to worry on that score.... deleting the resonator gives it a nice little growl...

I had mine removed along with the rear cats and wouldn't trade anything for it. The stock muffler really sounds great now. I tried using an aftermarket muffler, but the drone inside the cabin was unbearable and no performance gain. I highly recommend removing the resonator, for that little extra good sound that is missing in these cars.

That sounds really hood. The tips are really different than anything I've seen. I like it!

So I'm guessing taking out the rear cats made it louder too?

A little more which is just right for me. No way can I deal with anything that creates the dreaded drone inside a car and my setup just made it. A little louder than the way it is now and I wouldn't be pleased.

It depends on the mechanic I guess. A friend of mine did it at his shop after hours and it cost me a couple hundred and I supplied him with a magnaflow Y-Pipe with 2.5" inlets and 3" outlet. I wish you were closer so you could take mine for a spin. I know the car has given me a permanent grin!

Here's a link to the Y-Pipe....

And here's the end results...
