Default Crossfires attend Portsmout & Southsea Cruise

UK_Ken and myself met up for the Portsmouth and Southsea cruise last sunday. The cruise is organized by the Solent Renegades Car Club that welcome any Classic, American, Hotrod or Custom cars.

Our matched pair of xfires certainly got their fair share of attention. It was cool to show off the xfire and talk about the xfire to other petrol heads (shame about the weather, wanted the top down).

Well done. The yellow UK rear plates really look great on a black Crossfire like yours, and the elongated shape fits the car much better than the shorter and squarer plates in the US.

Could this be the first recorded meeting of UK forum members at an event? Well done guys, sounds like an interesting mix of cars.

It was bound to rain when two Roadster owners got together!

Hi Woody...I think your correct, this could be the start of a Crossfire club. Both Pete and my self are attending another car show on Sunday Sept 2. I have contacted another Crossfire owner who may also attend. Once we can muster half a dozen Crossfire owners then I hope we could start the first UK Crossfire Club and expand the meeting locations.

Thumbs up Re: Crossfires attend Portsmout & Southsea Cruise

Pete
Great pictures. I noticed ours girls are looking cheerful standing in the rain looking at our cars!! The two pictures taken on the move in town are exceptional and have a real atmospheric feel about them.

Well I only went again (16th Sept), this time I persuaded blackrider to bring his lovely new 2007 black roadster along (see pic - I wanted to see his king-pen wind deflector).
The matching roadsters looked awesome.
We ended up traveling back together for a while on the motorway, what a rush, a brace of black roadsters weaving in and out of the traffic = big smile.

I wish I had seen this post, I would have poppoed down in my SRT-6 to say Hi. Let me know if you are having another meet in the Portsmouth area.
