Thumbs up Re CROSSFIRE MEET 30th Dec

Hi All...I currently know of at lest 5 menbers that have confirmed their attendance on the 30th. I will post a last reminder later in the week. Should be a great day..Looking forward to meeting you all.

As mentioned we meet within the car park..but I suggest away from the general parking aera, for a bit more space to view and chat and no fear of dents etc to our beloved cars!

Ken.

Great stuff Ken, I'll try and get along to the meet. I had a bit of a panic trying to get the car MOT'd in time to use over Christmas, but managed to get it booked in and sorted on Friday. Passed with no problems and will sort the tax online so ready roll.

Merry Christmas and looking forward to seeing you all there

I'll aim to be there about the same time, which route are you taking Steve? You'll probably be coming past my neck of the woods.

Great to read that Steve and Simon are meeting-up and traveling down to gether. Pete and I will be doing the same, perhaps with others, from the south coast. What an influx of crossfires there will be at the meeting point!

Cheers
Ken.

HI all, I poped into Chilverlery Service Station Junction M4/A34 today to have a good nosy about (I happened to be passing on the way home from Yorkshire).

Parking for cars is somewhat limited and tight, it will be very difficult for us to park together. I would strongly suggest that we park and meet in the Truck parking Area that is much larger and unlikely to be full on the 30th.

At least I now have a few days to get the salt and cr*p off the car before sunday (can't even see my bling at the moment!).

See you all sunday, I should arive with ken at 12ish

Pete

Hi All...Pete suggestion about extra space is good idea..BUT unless ALL Crossfire owners read his recent post we will have two seperate groups. I plan to wait at the original meeting point and perhap Pete will wait at the truckers park. We can then arrange to merge into one groupe. Both parking area's will be fairly close together so I will check out both on the day.

Weather forcast for the 30th states cold but dry..which is good new's. See you all on the day.

Ken.

Hi again,

I am still hoping to be there. Only confusion now is if we are all going to meet in the same place!!

Si

P.S. Due to the car needing cleaning it may be more "black" than SSB !

I'll be bringing the video camera too to record the occasion. Also, for anyone is interested in a diagnostic check and report I will bring my MB diagnostics kit. A full test takes about 15 mins, its surprising sometimes what faults are stored despite not having any warning lights showing.
