Just had a quick search for hotels (bookings.com) and things are filling up quick for the dates we want.. if we want to be in the same area we may have to move quickly...

 

Hi - On the Sunday it would be wise to arrive at Chatsworth House by about 11.00, then we can be sure of parking space. They open for visitors at that time and I would expect it to be busy, especially if the weather is good (which of course it will) We can rendezvous in Bakewell and then ride up there in a "Crossfire Convoy" It would be wise as Ken & Dunk suggests to get accom booked asap as its a very popular little town for exploring the area.

I have check accommadation in Bakewell town..not surrouding area's, with off road car parking. Its all VERY thin on the ground for the Sat 12th July. So if your planing to say over, I suggest you start looking now. That said, I have booked a room with parking in the centure of town and there are still rooms avaible.

Accommadition... All rooms at the The Peacock Bakewell have now been taken. There is a pub next door called The Queens 01629 814586 they have two rooms vacant as of 4pm today so if interested be quick.

If taken have a word word the landloard and he may be able to recommend other accommadtion close by.
