Default Clear Bumper Lights from CTD

I ordered a set last week and something just hit me as I sit here waiting for them.

Does CTD send orange bulbs out with their clear corners, or do the bulbs have to be purchased elsewhere? In the case of the latter, where is a good place online to do so?

Aren’t the chrome lights that turn orange when lit available for this application?

The chrome that turn amber would be perfect.

Does anyone have a bulb part # so I can snag a pair from Superlumination?

EDIT: I went on the site, and they don't seem to have part #'s. Is this bulb just universal?

The Crossfire bulb number is 2825, which is replaced by superlumination's number 194 "signal marker bulb." That's the one in andrew's picture. Superlumination has a huge selection of #194 bulbs, which also have other automotive uses.

I just received my clear front marker lamps from CTD today. It took about 3 weeks to get them and about 2 minutes to install them. I had clear light bulbs in the stock lamps and I'm keeping them that way (unless Mr. Police Man puts the bust on me). Thanks Tino! Lookin Good!

Now what will I do next. Hmmm... Guess I'll have to update some photos in my gallery.

This is interesting...I got the CTD clear corners, and my bulbs were clear!! Really, I didn't have to buy new ones, in fact the stock ones look really bright, I like the look. I wonder why mine are clear??

The stock marker lamp bulbs are clear and the lenses are colored.
What some people may be referring to when they say White or Clear is a light bulb that illuminates a pure white light.
The factory ones are clear-white but light with a slight yellow tint.
This is not really that noticeable unless you have HID headlamps installed.
Hope this helps.
Oh And I left the factory bulbs in when I put the CTD Clear marker housings in.

I ordered a set of the SuperIlluminations chromed amber bulbs last night. These should look great.

On a side note, what is the average amount of time those with the CTD clear corners had to wait for them to arrive from Germany?

Mine actually took almost seven weeks to arrive from confirmed receipt of the order, but that period included the infamous European "summer vacation" hiatus. Others who ordered at different times of the year reported two to three week delivery periods, which is probably more typical. You're definitely going to like the way these markers look on your car.

Blade didn't you get your corner lights smoked? I can see buying clear corner lights on a white car or car with some chrome upgrades but how about on a graphite one. Can you tell that the corner lenses are orange and red (with the smoke film) or do they just look black?

Thanks.

My rear bumper lights have a smoked film over them; the clear corners I ordered are for the front, which on my car now are the stock orange ones.

And that's why the clear markers look so much better, IMHO. There's nothing else that's orange or amber on the car (except for the turn signal bulbs, which I also replaced), but there are other clear areas, particularly on the front, that match nicely. And with a chromed, white or clear bulb, the CTD clear raised markers look really fantastic and much better and more consistent and coherent than OEM.

How much do these run for? Also kind of off the subject but does anybody know where you can get those like HID bulbs for the rear license plate. I see them on the Lexus GS430 I believe it is and they look really nice?
