Cool Another HID thread...

I know this has more than likely been asked and answered...but here goes. I am going to purchase a HID light kit and have narrowed it down to 2 kits that are listed below. Just like to know if there are any comments from owners who have installed either system.

Most of the forum users who have upgraded to a hid kit have purchased the mcculloch hid kit... it is a tried and true product for us crossfire owners... and as for the hella from autoxclusive... i doubt it is any worse than the mcculloch, especially because it is sold by someone that is known on the forums... Its probably pretty much the same thing for the same price... you should be more concerned about what rating you want...

This was also my thoughts on the two kits. I am going with the 8,000k kit, not a big difference between the light output, but will add a bit more color.

The McCulloch 6K kit has plenty of color...I kinda wish I went with the 4,200K but it's up to you. The 6K is plenty blue when looking at it from outside but white enough on the road.

Has anyone tried replacing high beams with hid other than 6,000k - 8,000K? i was wondering how it looks with 10,000k or even 12,000k.

Fyi, i went with 8,000K for low beam and fogs, looks nice both from outside and on the road. Here's how it looks:
