Default Eyebrow Lights...

I read somewhere in a past thread where someone suggested replacing the white eyebrow lights with blue ones. Well, I did it. First, let me say that it is a pain in the @$$ to do, especially being that I wasn't about to take the whole headlight assembly out just to change the bulbs. But, after a few scrapped bloody knuckles I was able to replace them. It looks great when running just the parking lights and it adds a nice accent to the headlights when they are on. IMO, the subtle change was well worth it, plus I get a lot of compliments.

Cool Re: Eyebrow Lights...

Did you use LED's or regular bulbs, I used 5 LED Super Brite bulbs from http://www.superlumination.com/ & 100 watt PIAA halogens with Xpel yellow film for the fogs.

I used the cheap regular bulbs from Advanced Auto Parts, I didn't know they made LED bulbs that would fit. From your picture, I ended up with the same effect you did. I am sure at night yours would look brighter.

no fear of BS charge of "impersonating a police vehicle" guys ? i know it was thrown around with the old trend of having blue LED windshield washer nozzles ... hope you never have to deal with that but its a thought.

Yea its illegal in Maryland, but i think it is legal in a few states, but not many. They can be spotted from a mile away, so if go through radar, or are on a small street with a cop next to you, or in front, be prepared to get pulled over.

194 style bulbs will fit for the side markers and the ones in the corner of the headlamps.
I went with white LEDs to match my HID headlamps.

Does anyone have a fix for the warning light for the exterior lights coming one when changing the marker lights to LEDs? I have installed LEDs in the corners and HID's and now I have the exterior marning light on...

You will need to put a resistor in.
I believe http://superlumination.com/ sells them.
Or you will need a little black piece of electrical tape...
