with shipping it is $106... honestly I would stay away from the cheaper alternatives as they have been known to fail... this product is from china and products from china have been proven to be mostly junk... go with the tried and true mcculloch I know that it is more expensive, but as they say the cheap man pays twice...

That my story and I'm sticking to it.
Did you guys really look at that auction? The box has a Crossfire on it!
Seriously, the kit looks surprisingly like the McCulloch kit (which is also Chinese made). It might be worth a go if someone doesn't mind risking $104. Maybe the McCulloch people have some competition.
Also, for those of you looking for spare bulbs: It might be cheaper to buy this whole kit rather than just replacement bulbs from someone else.

Could it be a GE product or just a rip-off of the GE "box"? The kit in the link is offered by AutoXclusive.

it's one of the big problems going on with knock off hids, as they're copying the design of the quality parts and passing them off as if they're the same thing.
I have a set of eBay HIDs in my SRT-4, and have had them for about 18 Months. I have had NO problems at all. I would actually highly recommend them. The way I see it, for the improvement in visibility, its well worth it. If they go bad in a couple of years, I wouldn't mind paying $105 again. The ones I have came with an unconditional 21 Month warranty. I'm guessing the ballast will take a dump at about 22 months. Wait and see.
I just got a new 5,000k kit from e-bay for about $80, shipped. They were installed two days ago and they look great. Let's hope they are reliable. They are MUCH better than my used 6,500k kit that I purchased before for $106, which had one bulb go out on occasion, and then the other bulb mysteriously shattered inside the housing. The old kit even made the "exterior headlight out" indicator turn on within the dashboard. But, this new, $80 kit didn't make this indicator go on. The 5,000k bulbs make sooo much more light as well. Sometimes, the 6,500k kit made me feel like I was in the dark, but these 5,000k bulbs really brighten things up.
