Default A New Grill and a New Look for the Crossfire

I have delayed making this post until I had everything ready to go. Others have said they were developing a grill and it never appeared. In July '07 I purchased a 2005 SRT-6. I love it and knew from the first time I looked at it that I would want to replace the grill. It didn't make any sense to me for a performance car like the Crossfire to have the same grill look as other inexpensive Chrysler models. So, I got together with some people I know and we developed a grill for my car. It has turned out so well, I have decided to offer it to others. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the site to take any of my jpegs. But, if you want to take a look, here is the link to my site: www.crossfiregrills.com. Hope you like it, I love mine.

Don

Hmmm. Nice creation there. Not sure if it is for everyone, but options are great.
How do the lower grills install?
Can you powder coat the whole thing in black?

Yes, we could powder coat the whole thing if you want. The lower grills have two prongs or inserts that are 3/8" that insert into two holes that are drilled. Then the other end attaches with two screws.

I bet on a black Crossfire with the chrome add on's it would look great. I really like the flush look of the bottom two grills. Very nice work.

If there are those who want it, we can also do the grill in brushed aluminum but I think the polished grill looks best.

OK. So just to clarify, you must drill into the bumper to install the lower grills?
Thanks.

You never have to drill any holes for any of the grills that deface the finish or exterior of the car. The holes that the prongs fit into are in a support structure that does not show. On Monday, I will be posting some close-up pics on my website that will show this in detail. If you ever wanted to take our grill off and put the factory grill back on, there would not be any holes that would show.

Congrats on the design. Good luck, there are a lot of forum members asking for an alternative grille.

Hmmm interesting, very very cool. Can you take more pictures from various angles. High res pics? I'm a serious buyer.

Thanks.

P.S.

I'm going to photoshop something and then PM it to you. Please tell me what you think and what you can do.

I might want this black powder coat as well or maybe chrome. But silver looks great.

No, this will not be at SEMA. This is too new, just now getting it out. It is basically a grill I developed for myself that I decided I would offer to others. We are fabricating in groups of 10 to try to get some economies of development. As you know one of the issues with aftermarket items for the Crossfire is quantity. If you look on my site you will see the prices posted and in the FAQ section there is other info on installation, etc. I will be making more photos for installation and posting them. Thanks for your comments and interest.

Looks great.

Give me a few months to rebalance the budget, and I'm in.

A question; Since you have developed this grill, and the most difficult part of that is the fitting infrastructure. Will you consider different external finishes such as the so coveted mesh?

Now that's what a grill should be... clean, flush and of good quality!

VERY NICE!

Yes, and I would still love a center rib. The hard part is done really I guess. From the photos it even looks like it peaks into a crease in the middles. Outstanding!!!
