That is me. You should have gotten the tracking number with the notice. You have a PM with it.

I may have a problem. FedEx says they delivered my package at 7:57 this evening. Funny thing is, my wife was home at 7:15 this evening and I have 2 dogs to go crazy even when someone is walking on the street in front of my house. The wife says no package was delivered since she was home. FedEx says it was left at the door, no signature was required. But they will investigate. Stay tuned.

Problem solved, the ****** bag from FedEx delivered the grille to a neighbors house 3 doors down from me. Hope to get it installed today. Will take pics and post when I'm done.

Got the upper & lower grilles installed this afternoon. I'm not the worlds greatest photographer, also the camera died after 2 pics. After it recharges I will take and post some better ones (hopefully). Very simple to install and I am very happy with these grilles. Now nobody will think this is a Sebring coming down the road.

Got upper and lower installed, but my question now is how do you get the lower grill soff once you have them on? I cant get to the release with the special tool since the metal block is covering the opening.

just installed my upper and lower grils, they look great little tweaking needed to be done on the top grill it sagged a little on the right side, needed to bend the brace a little, and the bottom ones didn't want to sit flush but got em good, took about 15 minutes. yeah i wondered the same, i think the lower ones are on there for good now!!

Tia,

You just pry up the outer edge (with finger or something like the edge of an orange peeler and pull. The grill will pop out. I have driven extended distances (over 120 miles) at and a little above freeway speeds with no problem. As much as I hate to admit it, my foot slipped off the brake and I "tapped" a wall with the front bumper. My license holder cracked and my chrome metal frame split, but the bumper was fine and the grilles stayed put.

Karl, Thanks! We didn't need 'Full Disclosure', but it helps. Sorry for your mishap! Bill

Time for the GOOD NEWS/BAD NEWS yet again.

Sort of bad news is thanks to everyone we are sold out AGAIN!

I have a number of people who still want them and semi good news an new batch is due in mid June '08

The very good news is they have held their prices for us and the prices are the same.

I have to put the money out up front (over $5K last time) and had several people not only change their mind, but to this day have not responded with a simple "changed my mind". Fortunately we have a lot of great members that wanted the surplus and I recovered my initial investment. This is and never has been a "money making scheme." Remember forum members buying the set of upper and lowers, are paying nearly $50 cheaper from me than buy from the mfg direct.

I am going to institute a deposit policy. I am only going to ask for a $20 deposit, with balance due when the grilles arrive for shipping.

If you would like to get one please send me an email at karl@cardoover.com

Unfortunately I am always exceeding my PM limit.

Thanks for all your support,

Karl

How is the fit? Is it snug? Also how tough is it to install.
Thanks a lot.

Personally, I dont like shiny things.. I hate the chrome on my car, My preference on a black car would be a black, or flat black meaner looking grille and the car exterior minus all factory emblems....Then count the looks you receive
