Great find
Now if they only had green as a color choice
You will have to let us know how hard it was to get into your light housings.

Cool Re: Look At These Halo Lights!!!

Be aware that you will have to take your OEM headlamps and put them in the oven to bake/melt the seal.

Call me simple, but how do you get it to re-seal if you have to bake the old seal. Do you just put it back in the oven and re-bake it ? or what is the involved process?

If you look at the website (Advanced Something...) they have a video tutorial for this process.

Have fun!

You will have to re-seal them with a Permenant waterproof adhesive. The oven process is at a low temp and you have to be vigilant when doing this as not to over bake them.

Here is a good write up with photos on the process.

The new “plug and play” wiring makes this installation as simple as changing your headlight bulbs and simply plugging in the Xenon Light Computers.

Any updates on this halo solution? Did anyone try it?

Also,
These aren't real halos, but has anyone tried them?

They are cool, but I have done business with Advanced Auto in the past and their kits are not really durable. The ballast was always going out or the rings would snap off. Its been a year, so unless their kits are more durable now I would be aware. Just more of a headache then anything.

As for the headlamps you can use sillicone or reheat them back up to seal it. The chances of condensation does greatly increase though once you break the stock seal.

ummm...that is a ballsy thing to say, considering these are in no way the real definition of 'plug and play' seeing as you have to separate the headlights and then get them back together. seems to me like i would only ever even think about doing this if i had a spare set...and even then, probably not.

...although i would separate the headlights to paint the interior of them to match the body color, i think that would look good.

its not like pulling the lights apart is risky.

remove wiring, bulbs, etc.

place in oven at 150 for about 30 minutes, headlights should just pop apart

But how do you seal them up again after the upgrade?

There is a post here somewhere describing how the light unit was taken apart with a knife.
Would I put my lights in the oven? .... No way Jose.
I can see the instructions now, "put $400(?) in the oven and bake for 30 minutes at 150 degrees F." Yeah! right.
