It would be nice if someone could splash a mold off of these, and sell us fiberglass knock offs for $150 a set. Anyone interested?

Don't even attempt Parts.com, see my other posting about them.

82209208 - Bumper / List $210.00 Net 173.80

They only cost me $4 more to get them from the dealer verses Parts.com if they send the correct ones. And got them the next day.

GREAT photos. They realy look nice on your car. I'll have to check with my dealer tomorrow. In the past I was quoted over $300.00 for the set. $173.80 is a reasonable price. Thanks for posting!

Guys, I will call my parts guy tomorrow and see if he will sell these thru the mail. When he worked at a different Dodge dealer, they were a sponser for the Durango Club Website and offered discounts on parts and shipping. He is already gone for the day. I will try tomorrow. I will ask before posting his location and phone number.

Thanks for all the comments. James

Ok Guys,

Good news and bad news.

I talked to my source today about the rear 'facia panels'.

Good News: The warehouse near Detroit has 22 pairs in stock. My buddy can get them overnight on the Chrysler truck.

Bad News: When this dealer does mail order, it is retail price, plus shipping. Add tax if you live in OHIO. $210 plus $10 shipping in the USA.

I asked several times about 'group buys' or special pricing and he just can't do it. The dealer he works at now is large and commercial, where his previous dealer he worked for was smaller low key trying to make all the sales they could.

So if anyone is still interested, all you need to do is call him with a credit card number between 9 am and 3 pm Eastern Time. PM me for his name and phone number as he didn't want it posted all over the internet.

He said any Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep dealer in the US should have access to these parts (#82209208) and if they say different, they don't want to help you.

Sorry I couldn't help out more on the price, but I did what I could.

Well, I took them into the shop today, and they told me they wouldn't do it because of the textured finish. They said it would not hold the paint. They would do it with no guarantee it would hold, and charge me $100. I took it to Maaco and they told me that the texture does create a problem, but they would scuff it, and prep it so it had a higher probability of holding the paint. They will charge me $50, and guarantee it. I figured this is low risk item to have Maaco do it. I should have them in a couple of weeks as I have to wait until they are painting another black car.

Man... making a mountain out of a mole-hill. Do them yourself and you would have already had them on. As you said, they are a low risk item.

Buy a few Scotch scuff pads, some degreaser (etc), spray etching primer or epoxy primer and some Dupli-color black spray paint. And then some clear if you like.

Why would they need to wait for a black car? I would have laughed and walked out.

Answers in blue.

James1549, You are right, but I was concerned about painting plastic. I don't feel confident I would have done a good job. For $50, it's no big deal, and I'll get them in two weeks. I'm in no hurry. They had a couple of scratches they will fill in for me as well.

I have my painted diffusers installed. While I like the contrast of a different color, I prefer them matching the color of the car.
