Default License Plate Lamp Wire Path? Creating Flickering LED Fix

Hi all!

I'm looking for a place where I can intercept the license plate lights wires somewhere inside the cabin.

I need to install a small voltage regulator to try and control the mild voltage fluctuations that destroy the LED lamps. If it works well, the same product could also help extend the life of LEDs used inside the car (though I don't know how it will react to how the lights dim when the car is locked).

I know that there's not enough room in the wire tracks that come out of the liftgate; which side holds the license plate light wires and where does it go from there?

Thanks!
