Default Crossfire letters on Roadster Deck

PO removed CROSSFIRE letters from trunk lid, which in itself, is not a bad idea. Unfortunately, it looks like the PO pried the letters off with a screwdriver and ended up leaving some small chips where the letters were.

I have ordered new letters. I will use touch-up paint on the small chips and hope that the letters cover them up. I think putting the letters back on is better than having the chips.....

Would someone (with a roadster) please measure from the bottom of the deck lid to the bottom of the letters and then from center to center so I can get them reasonably close?

Thanks!

Make sure you get the info from someone that has an '05 or up. The '04 letters where set lower on the back panel. They where raised up in '05 to make room for the SRT6 badges.

I would check for you, but I removed the letters from both our xfires.

Also keep in mind they are per-spaced on the applicator.

Too bad there wasn't a way to zoom in on that license plate tag that has the VIN on it...How cool would it be to have a picture of your actual car being assembled...

One and one half inches from the bottom of the decklid to the bottom of the letters
Two and three quarter inch edge to edge between the two "S"
No way to measure from left edge of decklid to first letter "C" but the second "S" is centered on the Chrysler Wing. These were measured on an 05 SRT roadster.

One and one half inches from the bottom as in previous reply. Total length, tip to tip is 22 and 3/4 inches. Second "S" directly in the middle centered under the wing. Most letters are 2 and 3/4 inches center to center. The only difference is the "I". 2 and one half inches center to center from the "F" to the "I" and the same from the "I" to the "R". All this measured on a 2007 Red Roadster. Good Luck!!

Even cooler to build one yourself, I’d say - but unless I get an invite from a car manufacturer to help assemble a car I’ve ordered, that’s not going to happen for me.
