i actually think it would be pretty difficult. it would take us either putting those hideous slk headlights on ours which means we need to change out our hood. and then the slk center "nose" we would have to do something with that. and we would have to worry about the differences in the front of the engine between the slks and the crossfires.

i think a good body guy could cut the top of our bumper off and mold it with the bottom half of that bumper...there are two of them on ebay for $200

but if its poly urethane there isnt anything to bond those two together. and anytime it would flex it would probably start to split

Here is my 2 cents. I like the concept crossfire. If the cost was not out of this world I would look at doing it. That said there are a few things to consider. The crossfire is already a rare car in terms of numbers sold so selling custom body parts will be hard sell for the investment to make them. Second, unless you have someone who is willing to do this project as a favor for you I can imagine the cost would be quite high once you consider head lights, exhaust, mounting brackets, wireing, and ect. Still if you can get it done let me know. Unless you try it no one else will know if they would try it. Best of luck.

thanks for the positive thoughts...i have a great body guy who i've taken many cars to in the past...he's a perfectionist, the first time i took a jeep to him for a complete color change he ended up not being happy with how it came out (I didnt see a single thing wrong with the paint job) so he resprayed. I know hes capable of this kinda custom work and he always hooks me up with a deal too (he lived next to my grandma for the first 45 years of his life and grew up with my dad). with that said i will have a "concept" crossfire one day. Maybe later then sooner but i will get it done as im going to europe for the whole month of jan and need to save all my cash for that

That may be your only option blkxfire05. You need to absorb the initial cost of the modification yourself. Then if you find enough people that like it, reproduce it, and sell it.
If not enough people respond to your modification, then at least you own one of one, and I can tell ya first hand that can be a lot of fun.

Total cost i would rough estimate around $2000 judging by there prices for other kits. Maybe even the possibility of side exhuast for an extra 600 or so, not sure there would be room underneath for that though. Lets hear what you think before I talk to the company.
umm..mAybe i am losing my mind...but what year is that crossfire in those pics??

Cool Re: Body Kit idea

I have had the same thoughts. You could count me in absolutely. I am just finishing up a complete wheel, stereo, interior upgrade, as well as LSD lambo doors. Will post photos in a couple of weeks when it is done.

Ahhh so thats the concept xfire? I just bought a SRT-6 a few days ago and i came across that middle pic of the concept and i fell in love with it, started looking around if that car exists. I would be very keen to learn if there are ways to replicate a look like that
