Question HID's

Anybody try this conversion kit? They claim their system doesn't cause the lamp failure warning light issue.

Not me. but this is one I have and know there is no "Bulb Out" problem.

Make sure you tell them it's for a Crossfire made by MB.

I ordered some for my fogs and low beams, off of ebay. I just searched for H7, and 9006 hid kits. I haven't had any problems.

Here's his eBay Store:

Make sure you specify H7 bulbs, Color (5000K for me) and It's for a Chrysler Crossfire, made by MB and does need the optional/free extra wiring harness.

These work for me and many others. No "Bulb Out" lamp. I have them for low beams and foglights.

IDK?

i got mine from: http://stores.ebay.com/wholesale-hid
i paid $50 in nov/dec '08 timeframe. they work great so far and no bulb out indicator. i bought the 4300K H7 for low beam. i have noticed that if you turn them off and back on quickly, sometimes 1 or both don't light - and the bulb out indicator is on. i hear this is normal with HIDs and 1 reason not to put them on high or fogs.

This is not normal.....Once you turn on they will ignite on and slowly get brighter as the ballast output to Kelvin temp. Bad connection or something.

i'm talking about when i have them on for some time, turn them off then right back on again, sometimes one won't fire up. if i turn them off for a little while, then they both come on fine.

Still doesn't sound right doo....I have mine on for some time then turn off and right back on and they are just as bright as the second before turning off.. I have the McColloch 6K kit....your bulb may be going. One of mine went about 1month ago...kept throwing the bulb out. Mine kit on my Stang use to act like yours though.

If I turn mine on for a while...then off...then right back on, they light back up (both) at full brightness.
