Several months ago I filled out the form at Karmann and kissed butt about how wonderful my Crossfire is and requested the decal package. Nothing.

All I want are the two shields.

You are not alone here! Karmann seem to have got fed up with our requests.... If anyone can help, I would be interested in a decal or those lovely little badges.

 

Have you tried e-mailing them? I emailed them back in November, didn't fill out any form and got my shields about a week before Christmas. I'd keep trying. Most people that I know only got a pair of badges anyway, unless someone is selling their car and has a set......

Today i am going to request what ever Karmann will provide at no charge with a nice letter. And then offer to provide some monies to cover shipping etc, for additional Karmann badges etc to give to other crossfire oWNERS. Also in a different request ask for srt #"s type:s colors where shipped and year made. Then also same info on all non srt models and years. If anyone wants to add are make suggestions Let me Know asap THANkS dan.

 

I have just sent off a further suitably grovelling e-mail to them. Worth a try!

 

I sent 4 emails to them before I received any badges.

 

Once the form has been filled out and you hit "send" you will get a response that the message was sent.
The first few times my screen went blank and I doubted the message actually sent those times.
I found out that my Pop up blocker software was interfering with the send action and once I disabled all pop up blocker software it sent and I got confirmation.

 

How about letting out the web address so all can have a set for our cars???

RESULT!!!

Five days after sending a grovelling letter (in German, thanks to Babelfish translation!), our postman came through the snow with a sticker, 2 shield badges and a IAA (Frankfurt Motor Show) tie pin!

I could not be more happy!
