Im not a fan of the silver matte windshield frame and was wondering if there were a way of making it like the base model without having to have it painted?

 

Paint em.
New replacements will run about $900 for the parts alone.

 

Paint them or try to find someone on here with a base that is willing to trade..

 

That would be cool. So it is possible to swap the trim out? I wonder if a dealer would be willing to do this if they had both a LTD and Base model on the lot?

 

Probably not, unless you swapped the black stakes for silver ones as well.. but still.. it's a weird request.. it would give the buyer a false impression that they're getting a limited.. as that's basically the only difference on the exterior (and the black door handles as well)
