Hello all, I am looking to purchase a crossfire within the next month or so. My father used to have one and I really think its a great car (especially for their current market values.) I like the looks of the silver door handles and side accents; however, several of the cars I am looking at do not have them.

I searched the forum and did not find a how to section. Is it an easy do it yourself upgrade/paint job or do they offer replacement parts for sale in the silver? Any input would be appreciated and if this question was already addressed please just point me in the right direction. Thanks.

 

The ones without the silver accents are the basic models. The others all have the silver accents. There are aftermarket Chrome overlays, or I'm sure you can just have them painted. Keep in mind the base is missing quite a few options.

 

if you are looking at a base model. which are always black cars. the trim will be black also. U can either paint them, buy a limited model, or swap with someone who has a limited and wants black

 

I would swap my silver handles for a set of black ones.
