Help! What did I do wrong with my HID Install???
Well, I got the kit re-installed today this time using the black box "whatsits" above. I drove to the pizza place and drove back home with the lights on... probably 20-30 minutes of total driving so far and I have not yet heard the switch crackle or experienced lighting issues. HOWEVER... one thing that concerned me... On my way TO the pizza place, the headlamp out indicator was not lit, nor did it light up during the installation process. On the way back FROM the pizza place the headlamps out indicator WAS lit however.
I know that it is very likely for that indicator to light up with these HID installs, but I'm not sure if it is normal for it to be intermittent or what that might indicate.
I guess we'll see what happens from here...
Ian.

I wouldn't be concerned about this and I have had mine now for 8 months.

Thats what I learned from a knowledgeable source (Beaner) when bluecoupes light did not come on onetime. The light went out when the lamps were turned off and on again and both bulbs lit up.
It doesn't bother me at all... in fact I just have to reprogram myself to just see it as a "headlamps on" indicator, just wondering if it means I broke something again lol.
Thanks for everyone's help.
Dumb Question: Are you sure you do not another light out? A bad brake light will only show up after hitting the brake pedal. I had a license plate light go out and the indicator only worked about 50 percent of the time.

Well, I guess I deserve that flame...I was just scouring the forums since I am about to install some HIDs/LEDs and replied before I really saw how old this thread was....
And if by "scenery" you mean what I think you're meaning...then yes, it is much better...especially in the warmer months...
