Found SRT 6 w/ a hood scoop non fuctional!
Interesting choices. Chrome eyebrows, flames, SRT below the right headlight, non-functional scoop. None of these appeal to me, but interesting none-the-less.

but I think the scoop really doesn't look that bad, in a 1955 T-Birdish kind of way. Everything else.....not so much.Any scoop can be made functional (if that's your desired intent) but for the most part, they're more for aesthetic value. That is, unless they sit 3 or 4" above the hood line to get above the layer of "dead air" that flows around the car.
I know they're aren't for everybody, but the "intimidation factor" alone has worked great for me. Nobody has challenged me at a traffic light since my scooped hood installation, with the exception of a few Harley's that I embarrased, (but they don't coun't).
As some SRT drivers constantly remind us NA owners, we're too slow to even beat a Camry. So the way I see it "backing em down" is like a WIN for me.

Well, I don't think its bad. I kinda like it, for it is not too big and doesn't disturb the lines much. I am looking to put a cowl on myself but had I bought it that way, I would keep it. Flames not so much
you lucky dog, I haven't pulled the trigger on one yet, as I have 3 more to look at. Two are in Illinios, and its snowing where they are, should want to lower their prices, lol...and the 3rd is in KY, where it has stopped snowing...so I may go south tomorrow rather than NW...but we are searching for a grt deal, and it no hurry right now...congrats on finding a good deal though...and thanks for your help in looking for me...
