wing comes up at 45 mph
Agreed on the new battery.
My factory battery made my spoiler deploy as soon as the car was started. Replaced it with an Interstate battery and all is good.

I agree with the others here.
Check out the battery first.
When battery voltage becomes low strange things start to happen with these cars.

Mine comes up sometimes on starting, especially in the morning after sitting all night. Battery is 5 years old, based on what I read below, could be the problem. Thanks for posting the advice!

What they say above is true about old batteries in these cars.
Don't wait do it now or you'll have more problems.
Had this problem a few years ago. While I agree the battery is a culprit have you tried the BAS/ESP reset? Look in your owners manual. Its a simple reset of the system. If this doesn't work then the battery should be next.
Agree with Mr. 80. If the battery is four-five years old, just replace it. I reset my system originally, and wound up with a few months of intermittent problems with the wing, lights on the dash telling me bulbs were out when they weren't, and dying totally in the driveway twice. Should have just replaced the battery right away.
I agree with the others....just get a new battery. Cadillac XLR's have the similiar issues from time to time.
