Very unique! I like it.

I'd like to see pic of the overall car with them turned on.

I was inspired by all the different cars that I've done styling mods to and its been a loooong time since I've done anything to one of my own cars and also I've been itching to do it but the little lady kept telling me no...but i did it when she was out of town as a "surprise"..and when she came back the car was still on the lift because i was also doing a full brake swap so she didn't know untill i got home that night..and she loves em'!

Looks great, ever consider wiring them in as turn signals?

Liking the look of the lighted strakes. As others have requested I'd like to see MORE pics!
You gonna make these available for sale or do a "How To"?

So.....as per everyone's request...I'm going to post some pictures of the install... This isn't something a newbie should be doing on their own.. I didn't take too many pics of the original install so I'm going to be un-installing and re-installing step by step for those that have the gonads to install them and "drill out" your own fenders.. Plus for those of you that live in AZ or nearby areas that would like to make the trip and have me do the work..Well..I have two spare rooms and I like Makers Mark Bourbon...lol..And for those that are purchasing the NEW STRAKES that were re-designed by another member you can ship em to me and i can modify them to be lighted, so it'll give them that extra flare!

Please explain how you modified the strakes. I have a spare set that I plan to use as a test. I assume wiring is through one of the mounting holes and that you dremeled openings for the LEDs to light up. Alternating you could run a thin line of LEDs on the leading edge. Please provide pixs with the lights off so we can see how they are mounted.

Either way, I'm going to give it a go this weekend. I'll take pixs of my efforts for those that want to follow along. Two extra strakes = two attempts before I have to commit to modifying the real deal. I plan to run mine through the turn signal for added effect. Wish me luck

well...i didnt actually do anything to the strakes..it was the fender that got drilled out and the led strip was pushed through the back side of the fender so the led's barely break the surface. Then two ton epoxy is applied to the inside of the fender to hold in place. I have another crossfire that i am doing the same mod to this weekend as well. and I will take pics of the entire process

With the laws regarding the color of side markers on cars, this may be illegal when moving. Not something I would do but not bad looking.
