Default HID - One side not firing until other warms up

Hey everyone-
I installed my HID kit (DDM 55W 6000k) a little over a week ago and have had issues with one of the ballasts. When I switch on the lows they both power on for a second, then one goes out. Once the working light has reached its max brightness (usually takes about 5-10 seconds) I switch them off and back on, then both lights power up. Is there something I am missing with the install? any ideas on why this might be happening or if I have a bad ballast?

Similar situation with my HID's.
Drivers side would not light up for about 10 to 15 seconds after the lights were turned on.
Now it doesn't come on at all.

I guess I need to switch the ballasts from side to side to see if it is the problem.

Also having this issue with my HID's as well. Passenger side for me. But it is intermittent.
Only seems to happen when it's below 40*. But it's always the passenger side.

Been tinkering and emailing the support techs to no avail. Anyone with electrical experience have any clues?

Would you get this issue if you had 55W bulbs and a 30W ballast or even vice versa.

I just ordered another set and replaced the bad ballast and all is fine now.
I have extra bulbs and a ballast for future outages if any.
These things are getting cheaper to buy every day.

Check your connections. Each head light works on its own so it has nothing to do with the lights working off each other.for example your ballest only working when the other heats up..

Are you using a relay kit? if not I always suggest one to help with getting even voltage to each ballast. If you need one I have a spare brand new one ill send you.
