Default Removal of the after market 'SRT-6' badges

Not being into additional badges on cars, I like the OEM look, I am removing the decals on the wheels and wings. Being cold they are not coming of easily so I intend to use a hair dryer or heat gun. Presumably they come off with no problems that way. Any tips?

The Karmann, XF and Needswings decals came of easily, these others are a b!tch.

Heat gun, garage, dental floss, and patience.

Once off, lots of Goo-Gone

I hate badges too. But, I also love being a troll so I might plop a big AMG one on my next ride. Or Brabus, or Carlsson, or

Regarding the Karmann badge, I'm assuming it's that colorful little emblem, rather than a decal.

If you have no further use for it, and would be interested in parting with it, I'd gladly take it off your hands.

I'm not a Communist, and willing to pay a fair price, including shipping.

Let me know your thoughts, or shoot me a PM...

Thanx...

Sorry, it was a decal as I said. I used the term badge as in badging. All are decals.

Not these.

Which came from Karmann in a nice little package and is in my XF related collection. It will not be stuck on the car.

I used a heat gun on the SRT decals, when warmed they came of easily with no residue left on the car at all as they came off cleanly.

Not my style, I prefer ones like "Disney World", " Coney Island", "I Love NY" etc stickers. They just add a touch of whimsy and let people know you like to travel a lot in your Crossfire. They can be put anywhere and can cover dents and paint chips etc. That makes them a win win option to me.

My co-worker saw those pics and asked me"Who Auto Zoned that car? And where are the portholes?" I nearly died laughing.

I did. The car was built by Karmann, The Drive train by AMG. Still laughing?

Nothing wrong with the car in OEM form, I just do not like stickers and having seven extra stickers saying SRT6 is over the top.

Each to their own and as you recall I did tune the NA and add the MB intake, larger MAF, TB etc. The 6 does have a NW SCAI and I will not part with that. I'd like a V8 as well and I have a key for one on order so I may have one soon.
